  1. A nuclear war cannot be won. That is true. But Russia has a better chance of wining because of it vast landscape which is a convenience provided by nature and cannot be achieved by any other means. Also the West has not left an option for Russia. Its fate is the same in both the ways. If it loses the war with the West it doesn’t exist either. Therefore, kill and be killed is better than killed. I think this war will end as soon as Russia strikes Ukraine with a nuclear warhead. There will not be a nuclear retaliation or even a conventional retaliation from the NATO nations because no other power would risk a nuclear attack on them for Ukraine. If Poland goes fight Russia then there will be nuclear strikes on Poland from Russia no doubt. But it will not finally lead to third world war as US and rest of the Europe except the UK will not agree to fight a nuclear war. Eventually the US will leave Europe on its own and secure itself at the other side of Atlantic.
