  1. freezing the conflict? reminds me of a scene in "Saving Private Ryan" where the Nazi bastard is on top of the young GI from New York City pressing a bayonet closer and closer to the kid's heart and the kid cries desperately, "Stop! Stop!" like it's a game, with Mommy in the next room to referee when things get bloody.
