Even if we consider the ice age 10000 years ago, the sea level was lower by 120 meters only. So the idea that indians could go to Madagascar is false and is already disproven by scientists. The real reason why Madagascar and india have some similar plants and animals is because million of years ago India and Madagascar used to be side by side, india then broke off and collided with Eurasian plate which formed the Himalayas. This was hundreds of millions of years ago (1 million = 10lakhs).
