@Cyrano1971 textbook example of Hinduphobia.

@Recipeswithaleezaa translated "you got problems at home, don't ask me to return the stolen wallet"

Who can forget this quote Einstein made about the Gyanvapi Mandir? Some fools actually think this quote was in context of the unleashing of the atom and its impact on geopolitics. 😂
18
I am atheist and I support the return of the structure
11
@gurindersingh8109 fantastic obfuscation of logic. Present instance=|= every instance. Also delhi jama masjid used material from 17 temples. Not one
10
Imagine being so indoctrinated that you think structure being side to side is the issue. 😂
9
You can build a park anywhere, this argument is not valid because it intentionally disregards the history and importance of the location.
9
@azidahaka8543 how does that excuse the theft?
7
@shamshulanuar7718 that does not lend it any moral credence. Does it?
7
This is clearly satire. This guy is pretending to be a right winger to discredit the effort.
6
Could you demonstrate how setting this topic aside allows for solving the more pressing issues? You can walk and chew gum at the same time.
5
@vanaja8305 ever been there? Are you familiar with the history and events of the location?
5
Reductionism at its best. This statement is so fungible and context free, it belongs on every single thread.
5
@ericferguson9989 oh nice. Let me apply the same technique and solve the Israel- Palestine crisis. "Be neighbours." Where do I get my Nobel?
4
This my friends is obfuscation 101. I do not need to prove the existence of Mickey mouse if I stated " this used to be a Disneyland till the government took over unconstitutionally"
4
@amolkhobaragade yeah that is precisely the response I expect for not participating in group think. Fun fact: 8 year old me turned right wing after seeing this very structure.
4
Nice obfuscation.
4
Anything possible in ganga jamuni tehzeeb. Phook ke toh dekho 😂
3
@ericferguson9989 I find it particularly pertinent that people outside are fed a simplistic correlation. Seeing this very structure as an 8 year old turned me from an atheist liberal to an atheist right winger. These movements for the return of the holiest sites of Hinduism are less religious and more cultural. Its akin to the pulling down of the statutes of confederate leaders than irridentism. I really like how both the video and the discussion on the topic steers away from verifying the merit of the claim. This lady above is an example, she actually makes out the issue to be structures being side to side. 🤦
3
Fascism was not a choice, it was imposed by wilful ignorance of issues.
3
Ah the classic "build a hospital". Hospitals, toilets, universities, parks and other structures can be built anywhere. The history ties the need for the structure with this place.
3
@peabase "roughshod over freedom of religion" have you analysed this statement before posting it? What specific freedom is violated when a religious structure is reclaimed?
3
Wat 😂
3
How is it divide and rule? 😂
3
@vkchaitanya2003 the response reminds me of Swamy vs Prakash Raj debate Swamy: provides context a philosophical conundrum, the legal and constitutional basis to back up his often controversial statement and demonstrates causality and historical precedent Prakash Raj: "K U C H. B H I"
2
@ericferguson9989 the movement to reclaim the temples is older than 250 years. So care to elaborate how BJP was around back then? Also Google "gyanvapi mosque" and tell me that wasn't a temple.
2
Unless you can demonstrate how a person who forgets this topic moves to the climate change and pandemic, this isn't a valid argument. There is little to no intersection. Even if there is, people can walk and chew gum at the same time.
2
And that something will be taken over by something. That is what is happening 👍
2
And then? How does it solve the problem?
2
@salomastation6004 Yes. And so is the Kaaba.
2
@salomastation6004 so who established the Kaaba?
2
T PHANUMAS what is the distinction between a veda and a purana?
2
And those facilities are being built elsewhere. This is intentional obfuscation by ignoring history and importance of the location.
1
@rn6447 how does taking eyes off history and tradition ensure focus on building toilets? This is the very same trope that the socialists who held India back economically posited. 70 years later we had neither thanks to this notion.
1
@rn6447 one can walk and chew gum. The addressing of historical wrongs goes a long way to address the question of identity. There is not even a single country that did not have an issue addressing this the identity question.
1
Follow your path and make bed with your decision. Let others take their course of action if you are unwilling.
1
The temple is intrinsically linked to the location, not the school, hospital, park or toilet. So no
