  4. Hum, that's very subjective and relative. In fact, I disagree. There were plenty of 486s in circulation in 2000, and no small number of 386s. You could still browse the internet, run less intensive programs and use the same peripherals. Go to the store and buy Office 2000, install it on your 386 running Windows 95. It happened.

  6. Rather lame case design...blocking ports, lol, but with a 100W power supply, maybe that was necessary. Also rather lame terminology. I wish I still had my computer in 1999, but I scrapped it when it broke in Apr. 2000. Distant times...forgotten times.

  14. I didn't say it was a high end computer, but it was a decent one. We got a 400Mhz barebones Celeron in probably 1999. Get a 333Mhz PII (or a K6-2 350) or a 400Mhz Celeron. Same stuff. This was a $750 1999 computer, not a $4500 1997 one.
