  15. People are impatient. In medieval times, there was no rushing. There was no cheap or sloppy way to do it. Today, they can throw up a prefabricated Chinese roof up in days, add some steel bolts and caulk and call it a day. Auto is also an English word and it's blatantly obvious to people with brains that "das" is a definite article even if you know no German or how it works because it appears frequently enough in the media. Anyway, we hardly have an issue with German turning up in places what it doesn't belong. That would be Spanish.
