  6. OK. First off, you know full well "we" didn't vote for these taxes. Crazy lords of ours imposed them on us, their serfs. Second, "we" didn't declare independence. That was centuries ago. After the country was formed and government settled, there were no taxes for about 100 years. Most government income was from tariffs. Then there were almost no taxes for the next 50 years after that. And somewhere along the way they just gave themselves permission to take whatever they wanted and call themselves better than Georgius Rex III. They said, it's an emergency, this is war, and the taxes never went away. Now it's a way of life to steal from the people, even though we have an economic system that can exploit global markets to funnel money to our people. That's called being the reserve currency. Rule Britannia, brother.

  7. That's totally what I was doing into my 20s or even heaven forfend waiting until my mid 20s, buying a house. I just had tons of money and the idea had to percolate my thick skull to spend it on an asset which I could eternally pay taxes on rather than on coke and strippers. I don't know how I got so rich, probably my degree, which was a one way ticket to wealth. Thanks, parents.
