  29. Maybe a lithium 9V would recharge faster, if it mattered in this weapon. There will be guns that tell you the distance to target, angle, wind, have screens showing you where to point, the works. Probably already exists in some form.

  44. The fragility of most museums is a big deal. What happens to the collection when the museum closes? There are far more things that "belong in museums" than there is opportunity for them to be even stored at one. For most things, the private collector or caretaker is all there is. Artifacts live or die in our own little collections. Just like with the public museum, if there's no one to take over the collection when the museum closes, the artifacts get sold - if they are fortunate, perhaps donated, perhaps thrown into the nearest dumpster.

It is when you refer to truths with words that conceal truth that we can start to say that the "flow" of the words might need to be reconfigured to better support the meaning of what you are trying to say. There was really no reason to bring fiction up in a question on word accuracy. Anyway, your commitment to considering the matter resolved is impressive, to the extent that you wish to think about it no further to say nothing of revisionist comment editing. And yet you keep replying to me. Hrrrrm.

  59. It rotates 90 degrees. It only latches on that catch in the safe position. Twist it to fire and the latch is now pointed down and won't catch. Seems like the one great improvement over the MP40.
