@colbunkmust "on the side of"

@colbunkmust Ha. "In" was clumsy. "On the side of" is accurate. How about "alongside;" we can agree on that perhaps.

@colbunkmust How can something misleading, if not wrong, be elegant? You didn't even address "alongside" and you ask what I want. Hey, don't reply if you hate to talk.

@colbunkmust Fiction isn't wrong, or inaccurate. Your comment is not referring to fiction. It is when you refer to truths with words that conceal truth that we can start to say that the "flow" of the words might need to be reconfigured to better support the meaning of what you are trying to say. There was really no reason to bring fiction up in a question on word accuracy. Anyway, your commitment to considering the matter resolved is impressive, to the extent that you wish to think about it no further to say nothing of revisionist comment editing. And yet you keep replying to me. Hrrrrm.

@colbunkmust You are on a public website. Anyone can comment. It doesn't have to meet your opinion of "necessary." Another might say I offered a helpful suggestion. Anyways, so sorry to have intruded on your private discussion of this closed matter. Journalism isn't fiction. If it isn't correct due to "how the words flow" then I'll show you an idiot. Or two, counting the editor. And as far as whether it's resolved, if you can't understand the irony in your insistence on "explaining" yourself to me in a matter that you said has been completely resolved, I'm afraid I can't help you.

@colbunkmust I got it the whole time. And being right is more important than sounding pretty. And you compared journalism to fiction, no one else. I hope you get it now. In vain.

@colbunkmust Sorry, you are putting words into my mouth. I said I get how you are choosing to act about the suggestion. Not that I get that my suggestion isn't helpful. That's horseshit. That is your editorialization of a general response of mine. ""And being right is more important than sounding pretty." 'that's not the argument I was making.'" That's because I typed it, not you. ""And you compared journalism to fiction" 'Again, Nope.'" I didn't say you said they were the same. Let's focus on what was said and not manufacture context, if you are able to. I said you compared them in the similarity that they can both be false. And you did. You can own it, or not, but you probably will since you refuse to edit your comments! Hope you understand now.

@colbunkmust Again, you are struggling with context. That comment was about you comparing fiction and journalism to writing things accurately. I never said anything about the first person, don't care about him, my comments are their own comments to you, and if you don't wish to read them, stop reading them and complaining about how my nice suggestion is so unnecessary and upsetting to you.
1
@colbunkmust It was a nice suggestion, and you don't know how to take it. And the other commenters meant the same. Now you're following that up with a fit of inappropriate behavior. You clearly enjoy this, so we are going to continue.
