  1. Sydney/NSW gets a decent amount of hail storms. I experienced more living there than when living in Brisbane. Cyclones are definitely fairly common in particularly in tropical north Queensland. But the North West coast of Australia (around Broome area, WA) is actually the most cyclone prone in Australia.
