  1. Interesting! I'd heard about this bottled air but didn't know much about it. Tassie has the cleanest air, lowest pollution. Ironically that also contributes the higher UV radiation there in the summer. Pollutants can absorb some UV radiation and reflect it away from the surface. In Tassie more UV radiation reaches the surface. (A lot of Australia has light pollution compared to other countries). Temperature wise Tasmania doesn't get as high as other parts of the mainland but the sun can still bite hard. One thing you should always do in summer, wherever you live in Australia, is check the UV radiation on weather apps. before leaving home if you're going to be outdoors. Simply looking at the temperature isn't enough.
