Whats the point of this comment? Certainly not to be helpful. It's not a competition for who suffered the most. And frankly if you're that experienced with cyclones you should also be aware that a category 2, possibly 3 on landfall, hitting densely populated areas that don't have strict cyclone standard home and buildings... is extremely dangerous. Not to mention that it's due to hit high tide in middle of the night. There's also a lot more homeless people up here and most of the evacuation centres haven't even opened yet, heck the Brisbane one apparently has no food, no supplies no beds nothing. BYO. Have some compassion for your fellow Aussies. Also I doubt everything will be fine in a few weeks or whatever you claimed, certainly has been far from the case with SE Qld flooding over the years.
