  1. I disagree with your generalisation. I've had more positive experiences with attentive staff than negative here. And even fast food staff are usually friendly where I've gone. A lot of travellers work in hospo here too. And equally I've had shit rude service in Hawaii where they relied on tips. The worst service I ever had anywhere has been in Paris.
