  1. We didn't do the fake snow, some do but I don't know if it's that it's common. Most people I know have a fake tree too. Having a pine tree with needles everywhere in summer isn't the best especially if you have allergies. We only had real trees a couple of times when I was little. We don't have the whole summer off from school. Christmas/summer School holidays are about 7 weeks from about mid December to early Feb. Then Easter term break is two weeks Then another two weeks for winter term break around the end of June through to mid July. Then September term break, another two weeks off. Each school term is about 10 weeks.
