  2. With one difference, we use proper cane sugar and they use that nasty high fructose corn syrup. That makes things taste sweeter and tricks your brain into thinking you're still hungry (and bad for your liver). That's why they use it in everything there from foods to softdrinks, so people keep eating/consuming. That and it's cheaper since they don't mass produce cane sugar like we do.
