  1. When travelling through Europe and doing a couple of coach tours what I noticed was American tourists seemed loud, decibel wise and talked a lot. And Australian tourists seemed loud or rowdy when in groups, especially when drinking. And can also talk a lot lol. But in normal settings, both are not really any louder than each other imo. It might just be that certain accents are noticeable and stand out, so you think they're loud. While living in Sydney for many years, I worked with and had American friends who were living and working here (lotta people do the working visa for a year or two)🙂. You'd encounter a lot of American tourists in Sydney. Vast majority were nice people genuinely interested in Australia.

  2. To those saying that they only spoke to a few "Australians". Plenty of kiwis and Brit expats live here and ARE Australian citizens and residents. You don't have to have an Aussie accent to give an opinion as someone living in Australia🙃 30% of Australians were born overseas.
