Bungalow? That's definitely a UK term. A regular single story home here is called just that. Single story/single level. Lounge and Couch are both used here. Older people more likely to say lounge. Couch is probably more common now Doona, Quilt are both used. Manchester?? Nah. We just say bedding. Even in department stores it's usually called bedding. We use both the terms flat and Unit for a small single story block of apartments. Though Unit is more commonly used in real estate listings for example. And on addresses. E.g Unit 24. Apartment is probably most commonly used and refers to larger, multiple story/floor buildings/complexes. She's right about Aussie homes being colder inside here than UK/EU homes. Central heating isn't widespread here.
