  1. They lay it on thick even thought they know it's a salty spread! People who like umami flavour profiles usually like Vegemite, when consumed correctly. You wouldn't drink a shot glass of soy sauce to try it out. Salty umami things arent meant to be slathered or poured on. People who only like to spread super sweet things on toast probably wont like it. I'm savoury over salty any day for bread and toast.
