  2. I actually did know a bit about this. But I'm a bit of a history nerd 🤓. Another shameful part of our history.(dig deeper & you'll understand). Another thing most people outside of Australia don't know about(and frankly many Australians don't know about). Which I've recommended before for you, is the bombing of Darwin in WW2. (Our pearl harbour). Was not taught in school(outside of the NT) and buried a bit for decades. It was the 80th anniversary of it a few weeks ago. My great grandfather was stationed there at the time. Some messed up stuff happened during that time and in the aftermath. US military was there in Darwin at the time too. And the attacks continued for 20 months in Sydney and Townsville etc too. "An awkward truth- bombing of darwin" is a great little documentary on this, available online. Another mysterious event is Westall, Victoria in the 60s. Many claim a UFO sighting with hundreds of witnesses and cover ups. Other say it was weather balloon and others say a government experiment 🤷‍♀️. Every country has their mysteries, kookiness, tragedies and just plain dark pasts. And some of these things are not that long ago.
