  1. Wow very different in France with the silicone fries containers and the glasses!. Australian McDonald's has macarons too as part of McCafe. We are not as advanced or fancy as France but Aussie Maccas did get rid of single use plastic straws and untensils a few years ago. Replaced with all fibre based/wooden type of untensils and straws are some kind of thick biodegradable paper. The salads bowls and a couple of other containers are fibre based too. Was reading that by end of the year they will have fibre based sundae containers etc too. And have pledged to be all recyclable by 2025.
