  1. This is a piss take response to the top 10 reasons not to visit Australia. Where people said stupid things like "the sun" and stuff as reasons not to visit. I'm glad you didn't take it seriously. The please and thank you thing though definitely a thing in LA at least. Very jarring to me when someone orders a coffee or something and there's no please and no thank you after. That's something that you will not really see in Australia. It doesn't matter if you're in Sydney or a small town but you will always say please and thank you. And yeah a "no worries or You're welcome" or a smile in response to a thank you. But generally speaking Americans seem to be friendly and helpful. I don't know if I agree with him about comedians in Australia though. He doesn't seem to hold back and plenty of others don't. It depends on the comedian and their audience🤷‍♀️.
