  1. We have department stores and supermarkets separate. I'm ok with that tbh. Its not better or worse, it's just whatever you're used to. From what I heard from friends, most grocery stores there are not inside indoor shopping malls. Where as here they are. So we have a one stop shopping centre or mall if you like. Rather than a one stop department store. We do have Costco though and Aldi which sell a lot more than groceries. I remember going into a Walmart in Hawaii years ago. It was an enjoyable experience. 😊

  2. They've been in Australia for decades. I remember having them as a kid. They're just not that popular here.
