Some of your prices are a bit more expensive than what I've found. I shop at Woolworths and Aldi usually though. Pints?? We use litres here. 2 Litres of milk is $3.10 at Woolies for Woolworths brand. Where did you get your price for cheddar!? 😳 Coles home brand cheddar is 9.00 for a whole 1kg! $7.50 for Norco cheddar 500g. And Cheddar is $7.50 at Woolies. Bread is 3.19 I don't eat beef, chicken and bacon but I checked and Woolies is roughly around the same price. A lot of our stuff especially fresh fruit and veg saw a huge price hike due to lack of availability with the floods this year and we also has supply chain issues a lot with covid knocking staff out. So I think it's hard to make comparisons atm. Though our wages are a lot higher than the US and our prices include tax. And our food standards are higher. The UK is definitely cheaper for supermarket shopping though. But they also don't have the logistics of the US and Australia with transporting supply very long distances. Apparently petrol in the UK is a lot higher than ours at the moment. 🤷♀️
