  1. Been to Vivid many times. It's incredible! The last couple of years it was cancelled due to covid but it's back this year. There's always so much to see and so spread out that you usually go at least a couple nights to see it all. There's also live music and shows going on for the festival too. It all started off as a way to get people going out more in winter, to support local hospitality industry etc. To increase the winter nightlife and tourism. Now people come from all over the country and the world to see it. 🙂

  2. Wow...the whole Mel/Syd rivalry never stops for some 😴 . Yes Melbourne is great when it comes to the Arts. But other states (not just NSW) have plenty to offer as well. And i've been to both light festivals and sorry but absolutely nothing compares to Vivid Sydney. Not only for sheer size (it's the largest in the world, facts) but for the setting and the backdrop.
