  1. Accurate😂👏. Lol. The sausage sizzle is a long standing tradition in Australia. Not just at Bunnings but at school fairs, even just at family BBQs, and during elections at voting booths. They call those the democracy sausage. People post pictures of themselves after voting with the tag #democracysausage 😂 I'd like to see you trying your hand at a sausage sizzle at home some day. 🤭 Get some cheap beef sausages or pork if no beef available. Throw them on the barbecue or grill. Throw on some sliced onions until they caramelise. Place the cooked sausage diagonally across a slice of white bread. Add some of the onions on top. And squeeze some tomato sauce (ketchup for you guys) over the top of the sausage and onions. Then fold it up and eat. (There's videos on how to make these no doubt lol). Most of these sausage sizzles raise money for local charities.
