  1. 😆 At least you had fun! And Ian and Emma enjoyed them so thats the main thing. Unfortunately with sponge cake recipes you can't really change the ingredients so much self raising flour is best and you need all the eggs. Powered sugar is not caster sugar, just use regular white sugar if you cant by caster. You can also just take the easy route and buy a pre made sponge cake and then just decorate it! 😊
