  1. Yeah never heard of downball. Only ever heard of handball. Not just played in the 80s. It was played in 90s, 2000s and still to this day I believe.

  2. We played it in primary school (elementary school) when I was growing up. It was always called Handball though. Never heard of Downball ever. I think some states may have called it Four Square. But in Qld and NSW it's handball.
