  1. Most of the Starbucks I've seen the last few years have been drive through based. Like in regional areas and attached to petrol or service stations (servos/gas station). I guess it's to appeal to long distance drivers like truck drivers or road trippers. The "on the go/keep me awake" market. I never understood the appeal myself. I don't mind a good flat white or cappuccino but I'm more of tea drinker myself. Tea is pretty big here too. A cup of tea is see a soothing thing when stressed or upset or to relax in the afternoon. Tea houses and High tea is popular too. Or going out for afternoon tea with scones, jam and cream. (a Devonshire tea). As for Australian coffee in America there's some Aussies that have opened chains there in NY, LA and other states. One is called Bluestone Lane. They have cafes alll over America now I think.
