  1. So sorry to here. That's sadly a standard price these days even for the most basic of rentals. Perhaps a little cabin in a caravan/tourist park to do you until you can manage something else? Can often get for $40-50 per night for a basic small one, with a double or queen bed and a bunk style bed. There's proper 1-2 bedrooms but cost more of course. And they often have discounts for long stays. All the best with everything.
