  2. I used to think we should abolish the House of Lords. Then I saw them block some absolutely insane pieces of legislation that the government were trying to get through & I changed my mind. We need an unelected group of highly educated people who don't have skin in the game and less likely to be biased by political correctness, popular or trendy opinion or lobbying.
