  6. Is the way to address this to make recruitment of staff & students equal in that it's impossible to tell sex, age, race etc or to focus on those differences & impose quotas? I'd say the former

  8. Agree. We need a review of all the political terminology that we use routinely as I don't think we have shared & consistent understanding of them at the moment which completely stunts discussion

  9. That needs to be addressed at its root- primary & secondary education & early years family support. To try to redress at the point of university (where the ability to study independently is required) is too late & sets people up to fail
