  1. Someone who drinks all day might not survive at all. I have worked in mental health care for many years and worked with many people who had such severe brain damage from drinking that they couldn't live independently. I have also worked with people whose first incident of mental illness was triggered by weed. Both have risks but alcohol has far higher risks to mind, body and behaviour when used in excess

  2. Sean Bailey's world is a simpler world than the world we live in. I wish his world view was the one we live in but it isn't. Eg with Tescos; Tescos has become a huge company that has trampled numerous small businesses and farmers because it has benefited from tax loopholes and aggressively underpaid for produce. Yes it now employs lots of people but its practices have put many out of work. However, he comes across very well, he is super likeable and appears as someone with intelligence, solid values and principles who welcomes dialogue and has an open mind. His current views on cannabis and Ukraine are idiotic, ignorant and naive.
