@Torquemadia because we're in a two party system? So if it's not the Tories it will be Labour. And because the tories are at least used to power & we're still alive & society is running to some extent & better the devil you know? I say that as someone who has never voted Tory, just those are the reasons I see to do so.

@jimbodimbo981 this is basically where I'm up to now too, except I'm drawing uteruses & saying I'm not voting for any party that doesn't know what a woman is. There is no party worth supporting atm. (Edited for spelling)

@Torquemadia did your eyes get tired, you didn't get to the part where I said I'd never noted tory?

@pgl0897 it's the authoritarianism - they would have locked down more, put in mandates. They would put in place gender self ID & legalise the sex trade & commercial surrogacy meaning women & children were even more at risk from sexual predators. They would make it easier for children & adults to medically 'transition' leading to huge societal costs from NHS funding to the medical malpractice litigation explosion that is surely on its way.

@usn8964 such a good question! Too often we use words without defining our terms & that prevents any development in our mutual understanding & thinking. How about this definition? The working class are those who have none of the necessary premises, equipment, materials, or the money to acquire these things, that are needed to engage in production or exchange – to make a living on the market – and can trade only their ability to work (labour power).
