  2. I believe in meritocracy not nepotism. All children should be able to access high quality education. Not all children are suited to higher education but this should be based on their abilities & interests, not who their parents are.

  5.  @louislemar796  I don't agree that education is just 'goods' that everyone should individually pay for. I believe a civilised society should ensure that everyone has access to education and health care. A society where a poor child dies because their parents can't afford antibiotics would be a dystopia

  7.  @louislemar796  I don't think it's immoral. Society is bigger than individual families. Whether or not you have children, you need people & new generations in society to run your healthcare, repair your roads, produce your energy etc etc

  9. @louislemar796  we have had these periods before in history & it wasn't good. I'd rather live in a time where if I break my leg I can get treatment for it without ending up bankrupt on the street and where I get paid time off work instead of losing everything
