  3. Amy is so impressive - brave, articulate, thoughtful, intelligent, n knowledgeable and questioning. Exactly what one would want in a psychotherapist. The mental health & psychotherapeutic sector is entirely captured by deranged & damaging ideology (critical race and gender) & I know this from experience as a mental health social worker. And sadly I also know from experience that education, Higher education and social care sectors are rotten with it also. Now I'm off to donate to Amy's crowdfunder

  10. As a woman I really appreciate that our situation is being recognised. Labour hates women. I have always voted 'Left' (Green & Labour) but how can I now when to do so is to sign away my rights & respect.

  11. I think this is part of the design. All of this ridiculousness is turning working & middle class attention away from the actual built in inequalities that we should be focusing on (eg big banks, the financial system etc). All of this identity politics came in after the Occupy movement, which was actually based on some sound logic (although was a formless movement) - this wasn't an accident

  12.  @Naren25  I agree with you that he is a nationalist. That alone doesn't make someone a fascist. I agree with you that he is an establishment figure but again that doesn't necessarily make someone a fascist. Enforcing borders (nationalist) is not the same as authoritarianism. He was anti ID cards, anti lockdowns & anti mandatory medications. Those are all anti-authoritarian positions.

Its not just about numbers of women on the front bench, it's about quality- and the quality in Labour is shocking - Nandy, Raynor etc, all happily throwing women under a bus for woke cookies

  15. Our country consistently places the sexual 'rights' of men over the safety of women and girls. Here the best interests ofMuslim men were prioritised, meanwhile safeguarding measures are discarded to allow trans identified men to have their gender identities to be 'affirmed' by free access to the spaces of women & girls. This needs to stop

  29. Islamism/islam is not left wing in the slightest- it is extremely socially conservative. That is why they make such strange bedfellows. We all really need to redefine our terms re right/left wing, liberal/conservative etc.

  31. I have also spent a lot of time in care homes and I wouldn't want to live in even the nice ones. The majority of people who need care are there because they have dementia and that looks to me a living nightmare. I would rather die than be in that situation. The key is acting to remove yourself from that while still having the ability to do so. It's a very difficult balance

  34. James Dreyfuss seems lovely & a classical liberal. However I don't agree that it's OK to have a ritual that everyone gives their pronouns as long as everyone wants to. Stating ones pronouns is an exercise in ideology. It means nothing to someone who doesn't believe in gender ideology nor that we should control each others speech or how others see us and describe us. It's as inappropriate as putting religious rituals into work routines. Our professional worlds should be secular, neutral. Keep it in your church
