  1. The Soviets built special military underground bases in Bakhmut. It's like a fortress. The Soviets built Ukraine to fight the west. There are literally hundreds of kilometers of underground tunnels through out the union.

  2. If there are still children in Bakhmut the Ukrainian government is responsible. They have to protect children over whatever the parents decisions.

  3. It's up to the Ukrainian government to evacuate children from potential conflict zones. Failure to do so is negligence on Ukraine's part. In these matters parents don't have a choice.
