  1. i would say one thing you missed one important point which is that the type system is the reason why so many people love rust. Performance is not the first reason why people love rust. And one interesting thing is that there is no equivalent in js. there are simply things you can do in rust you cannot do in ts / js for types.

  2. but overall, i agree that you can just move faster in TS, but i am still on the fence if that ackshually makes a software creation impact. TS has a way of building up and allowing for weird software quirks longer and sometimes those are very hard to unwind.
