  1. Reform absolutely! We now have community police officers meaning-We hire officers that have experience living or residing in certain areas! This does not mean the system is perfect but that we are working toward a more compassionate and fair police force! The jails are full of folks with serious mental health issues! We expect far too much of Law Enforcement! I have witnessed police being constantly screamed at, berated and lied about! That does not dismiss bad policing! Watching a young woman giving birth while incarcerated and shackled before entering a formal plea is beyond the pale! These are the kinds of situations that need to be changed ASAP! Review hiring practices-independent civilian panels regarding policing practices, providing mental health services subsequent to any and all deaths particularly inmates of the Federal prisons!
