  2. fahrenheit is also incredibly imprecisely. if never heard an american say "its 93 Degrees Fahrenheit" they always say stuff like "in the 90s" or "in the 60s"..

  7. seriously USA! Youve had over 150 years to convert (metrication of the US officialy started in the 1860s!). If you havent figured it out by now, youre just lazy and stubborn!

  10.  @becki736  ive been to the US about 15 times and met maybe 2-3 people who understood what i was talking about when i gave the distance in meters.. everyone else just starred at me like i came from mars! Most US-americans have NO CLUE about the metric system AT ALL!

  11. In the US the system they use is defined by metric.. an inch is defined to be exactly 2.54 cm for example! so they converted the imperial system to metric and then to their Us system.. yes, its as stupid as is sounds!
