  2. while its true that japanese people bearely speak any english, ive had no problems with shopping and ordering food.. just point to the menu you want and they will prepare it for you.. 90% of all menus have fotographs of the food... 7/11 had cheap food as well.. snacks and drinks for less than a dollar,. its not that expensive if youre there for vacation. living there is a whole differnt thing
