That's because she is a mouth piece for what the station stands for.

They would not have suggested, negotiated, signed and adopted that internationally binding treaty then.

@truckerfromreno No it doesn't. Stop telling lies, you ultimately lying to yourself.

@darrengray5045 Not anytime soon.

@darrengray5045 I disagree. My feelings have nothing to do with it. The fact is there is no majority for a united Ireland right now.

@darrengray5045 Right. And any smart Irish government will wait until such time as a large minority of Unionist are in favour also.
1
@darrengray5045 Yes, but that is what a majority believe, not necessarily how a majority would vote today. So, 'not anytime soon' remains valid.

@darrengray5045 There will be no border on the island of Ireland. The border in the Irish Sea will remain, and NI will continue to orientate its economy towards the EU. In about 20 years, a combination of economics and population changes will begin the process of unification. And even then, it will not happen overnight. There is much to be decided upon.

@darrengray5045 You do whatever you need to do to 'win' the argument, Darren. I'm not as invested as you are.

@darrengray5045 'It's a little silly of you to assume you know how invested I am in this topic.' Your posts speak for themselves. 'I am merely pointing out that we have arrived at a point where you have agreed with my initial assertion.' Are you, now... You decided that 20 years is soon so that you can declare yourself right. This is because you dropped a clanger by claiming that a poll Northern Irish opinion about future unity in decades time is the same as my statement that there is no majority for unity 'right now'. I has already stated there was 'no majority for a united Ireland right now', you provided the no evidence to support it - only how they felt about it happening in years from now. Now aware that your dropped the ball, and that in fact I was right - there is no majority for unity 'right now' - you decided that in fact 20 years from now is in fact 'anytime soon'. In this context, your claim to be 'merely pointing out that it is a fact' is patently absurd.

@HaiLsKuNkY I agree. But a person who believes Brexit is hokum will not get the same treatment.
