  3.  @idkanymore9228  Zelensky never 'ordered' civilians to 'call up arms'. Zelenskyy ordered all men over 16 to join the military. Some people in Kiev volunteered to take up arms. The never got any arms in Butcha. Stop being an apologist for slaughter. Killing civilians was always part of Putins plan - he did it everywhere else he invaded as a deliberate policy.

I discovered that non-MSM was spread by people who either had no idea what they were talking about or knew exactly I what they were talking about about and assumed I was stupid. Preposterous claims were being made without any substance, sometimes about things that I knew for a fact were untrue. I discovered mainstream media, while far from perfect, was much easier to navigate. You could check the sources more easily, while non-MSM only provided sources that could be traced back to right-wing NGOs (probably fronts) if they provided any at all. A lot of them encouraged you to 'wake up' and 'see' what they told you was there. They told you there was evidence and yet they never produced any. It was clear people had their own agenda. Russian media is certainly all state propaganda because Putin controls the Russian media. This is not necessarily the case in Mainstream Media - it is a mixture of both. Despite my frustrations with MSM, I trust it more than the other stuff. I live in Ireland. The Russian Ambassador to Ireland told me and the rest of the country a week before the invasion that Russia had no intension of invading Ukraine because they were 'brothers' and 'family'. This was after Putin told us that he had started to withdraw his forces from the Ukrainian border. Why should I trust anything the Russians say?

Why commit atrocities: because they expect to get away with it, as they did in Chechnya and Syria. They already have you questioning it. Ukraine gets sympathy because is was invaded and because they are courageous in their resistance. Putin said he would not invade Ukraine a week before he invaded Ukraine.
