  3. The British people in Northern Ireland will be a minority in a generation, if not sooner. Some moderate unionists are open to persuasion in relation to a united Ireland because of Brexit, and there is a distinct possibility that the Scots or even the English might dissolve the union. So who knows what the future holds?

  5. Irish-Argentines will soon tell you they are Irish-Argentine. However, that does not diminish their Argentine identity. It is odd that you defend the Anglo-saxon notions of binary identity. Italian-Argentines were well aware of their Italian identity and many of them will line up for hours in Buenos Aires to vote in Italian elections, which is a right they inherit.

  7.  @kitchenersown  Ireland is much stronger economically than the UK; the UK economy is larger, not not stronger. Now that NI has become a special economic zone, it is likely that the UK block grant will diminish in future years as NI gradually develops to be able to pay its own way. I give it 10-20 years.
