  2. The person who killed the gay men in Sligo was a repressed homo himself - no surprise there. The local media covered all this at the time. It was a homophobic crime, of which there were several in Ireland in my lifetime which resulted in the murder of gay men.

  4.  @accaeffe8032  It is not easy to get Irish citizenship, it costs thousands for a start, and if you make a single error in your application you have to go back to the start. Stop making up sh1t.

  6.  @nojabhere  I live in the republic and I first heard this story on RTE news. There is now a media silence so as to not prejudice the up coming court case, as charges have been preferred and the alleged perp is a minor. A video like this in Ireland could be used to indicate the perp cannot get a fair trail. We still try to have fair trails in Ireland.
