But the UK is trying to strike a withdrawal deal with the EU. As Lithuania is in the EU, you literally made leaving the EU the business of every Lithuanian - indeed, every citizen in the EU. Go back to sleep Dave, we will wake you up when you are an official vassal of the European Union.

@ Ford Prefect. Why would individual countries negotiate on their own with the UK when collectively they will get a better deal through the EU? And what country elects trade negotiators? What has any of this got to do with the President of Lithuania?

Dave you are obliged to follow regulations while you are members of the EU. Full stop. The UK is bound by EU rules equally with every other member state. The problem with the UK is that Brexiters don't see themselves as being equal to the rest of the EU. They're think they're special. The only reason you are playing ball is because you believe you were so special you would be given a 'have your cake and eat it' deal. And it all went wrong. Everybody else knew that this would not happen. The current political leadership of the UK, Jo Bo, JRM, IDS and the other pantomime toffs are no better. They're a laughing stock from the Atlantic to the Black Sea.

@ Ford Prefect I agree - a no deal is most likely, given the utter shambles in London. If it was raining soup, the UK political class would be out with forks. If you think £39 billion is for purchasing the silence of EU member states you are sorely mistaken.
