  1. English remains an official language of the European Union because the Irish and the Maltese us it, and because English is the international language of business. Learn German or French to though - it will provide you with even more options when Serbia joins. Hope that helps!

  2.  @urbanzealot4958  Its an official language of Malta. Might be in Cyprus too, both are in the Commonwealth.
