  3. It is in this position because Brexiters had no coherent plan, no consensus, no negotiators, no opposition and no leadership. Apparently the only option for Brexiters now is to trade solely on WTO rules, alongside such economic powerhouses as Western Sahara, South Sudan and Timor Leste, for example. It is the greatest exercise in national self-harm since the Easter Islanders cut down their last tree.
