Thirdly, the 'oppression' Brexiters claim to feel as part of the EU is a product of their imagination. Your comment points to the incoherence of Brexit.

  17. Other EU members are watching to see how it stands by a smaller country that is being bullied by a larger soon-to-be-external country. Most members of the EU are smaller than Ireland or not much bigger than Ireland.

  19. A condition of any deal with the EU is the requirement that the UK produce a solution to the fact that the UK leaving the Customs Union and Single Market will mean a hard border in Ireland. Brexit must not change the open border which came about through the peace agreement democratically voted for by the people of Ireland.
