@noodlyappendage6729 In relation to NI, it cannot.

He went to NI to help solve a problem and then returned to Dublin a few hours later to bury his mother.

@noodlyappendage6729 That is not necessary as that is what the British-Irish Intergovernmental Conference is for, but the UK PM needs to start attending.

If the UK government had spent more time giving attention to the Irish government much of the humiliation around Brexit could have been avoided. Furthermore, one of the strands in the GFA is the relationship between London and Dublin. There should be plenty of time made for meetings between both sides.

@noodlyappendage6729 There is no irredentist claim on northern Ireland; there is however a legitimate aspiration to unite the people of the island.

Why not?

@noodlyappendage6729 There most certainly is not. The Irredentist claim was removed from the Irish constitution in 1998 and replaced with the aspiration to united the people of the island. The trouble for loyalists is that the direction of travel is towards unity, perhaps in another 20 years or so. Then a new state will be formed, with a new anthem, probably a new flag and so on.

@ballshippin3809 Nope, sorry, it wont happen in Ireland. In Ireland we're quite good at integration, unlike the UK.
