  2. The British did not vote to leave the EU, the insecure 'English-outside-London' did. We'll be sticking with the EU.

  3. @ Corporate Doggy9000 That's not the case. Ireland's hard won freedom has meant that the Irish are free to pool their sovereignty to for the benefit of its citizens. Ireland makes its own laws, as has the UK over the last 40 years and it can opt in or out of various EU initiatives. You should know that, the UK opted out of almost everything during the EU history. Our current leader does not 'want an EU army' and Ireland will not be involved in an EU army. That's another opt out for Ireland. 88% of Irish people support EU membership. All those battles were worth it. We don't have to leave the EU just because the English want to, unlike the Scots and the Northern Irish. We're free to make our own decisions regarding what is best for the Irish people.
